Volunteer Opportunities

 

Volunteers truly make the difference in realizing The Literacy Council's vision of a community in which each person is functionally literate. Volunteers change lives by tutoring basic literacy or English for Speakers of Other Languages and foster the love of reading in the next generation by reading to children.

 

Other volunteer opportunities include helping with special events, which give The Literacy Council opportunities to share our services with the community, inform the public about the issue of literacy, recognize our volunteers and clients for their accomplishments, and raise funds to support our programs.
