Literacy Providers Network
The purpose of the Literacy Providers Network is to advance the level of literacy in Central Alabama by sharing information and collaboration among programs providing literacy services. The membership of the Literacy Providers Network is comprised of individuals from a wide range of agencies and organizations that deliver literacy programs or have an interest in literacy throughout the Central Alabama area.
Bi-monthly Literacy Providers Network meetings allow for an exchange of information and ideas, provide collaborative opportunities, expand literacy awareness, facilitate discussions about literacy issues, advocate for change, and more.
Members of the Literacy Providers Network also receive regular email messages discussing various updates related to literacy, funding opportunities, and other information of mutual interest.
The agencies represented on the Literacy Providers Network collectively provide literacy services to thousands of people in central Alabama. The number of members of the Literacy Providers Network, and the number of people that are positively affected, continues to grow.
